Joseph Scrementi began practicing law immediately after he received his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2011. During law school, Joseph participated in Mock Trial, was on the dean’s list, served as the Vice President of the Justinian Society as a second-year student and as the President in his third year. Prior to law school, Joseph completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008. Joseph joined Cifelli, Scrementi & Dore, LTD in 2020, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation. Prior to joining Cifelli, Scrementi & Dore, LTD., Joseph worked a large, well- respected personal injury firm where he gained experience handling all types of civil litigation and worker’s compensation matters. Joseph is a seasoned trial attorney, having tried over 50 jury trials in Cook County and the surrounding collar counties. Joseph has also argued in front of the First and Third District Appellate Courts. Joseph has been named to Super Lawyer’s Illinois Rising Stars for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023, a prestigious distinction that only the top 2.5% of attorneys in Illinois receive.
